Kathleen Curran
Kathleen is a member of the Ursulines of Jesus. She completed spiritual direction training with the Epiphany Group and a chaplaincy diploma through Maynooth University in Ireland. She now works as a school chaplain and also helps with the spiritual development of children who have learning difficulties She also sees people for one to one spiritual direction.
Juliet MacKellaig
Juliet has trained as a spiritual director over four years which included the Spiritual Exercises of St Ignatius of Loyola. This training was facilitated by the Epiphany Group of Spiritual Directors in Edinburgh. She went on to do a two year training as a tutor with the Epiphany Group. She sees people one to one for Spiritual Direction and facilitates short prayer courses. She also works with a medical charity.
Claire Starr
Claire originally trained as a nurse in 1984, but when her children were born she decided to stay at home to look after them. She has four children, now aged between 13 and 20 years. She is a member of the Scottish Episcopal and worships at St. Mary's Church, Dalmahoy. She did the Scottish Churches' Open College foundation course - Training in Learning and service, followed by the Life of Prayer course, she then went on to do the courses at Nile Grove and trained as a Spiritual Director with Juliet. She is a member of the Epiphany Group and on the core committee and practices as a Spiritual Director.
The tutors have supervision from trained supervisors from the
Epiphany Group. They are members of the Bethany Group of Spiritual
Directors.
